Apple Releases Mac OSX 10.5.1
Whoa! that was fast wasn’t it. Apple just released Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.1 for the general public that fixes a lot of nagging problems with the initial release of Leopard. Mac OSX 10.5.1 comes out after about 20 days since the official launch. Considering the time Apple had in developing this update, it looks like a rock solid upgrade and improves the stability of Leopard comprehensively.
According to Apple, the update is recommended for all 10.5 users and the 110MB download includes “general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac”.
Most notably the fixed issues include issues with data loss when moving files, some firewall stuff, and some of the Time Machine problems. Actually the update includes quite a few improvements for both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. Official list is after the jump.
