The Ubuntu team is at hard work and I must say I’m impressed with the work that has been done so far. Ubuntu 8.04 is on track to be shipped on April 24th 2008, and in the early stages of its development it continues to impress me with the new features being added..

This alpha release comes with HOT new features and improvements, like PulseAudio as the default sound system, the latest and greatest 2.6.24 Linux kernel and Xorg 7.3, with an emphasis on better autoconfiguration without config files

Well the wait is finally over, Ubuntu 7.10 (Gusty Gibbon) was released just a few hours ago. Ubuntu has changed the way we perceive Linux. Ubuntu has taken Linux to new levels taking it beyond geeks to a lot of normal people like you and me. In its 3 years of existence Ubuntu continues to grow as the biggest challenge to Microsoft domination in the Operating System market.
