Firefox Campus Edition Sucks! Really!
The whole of the blogosphere is abuzz with the talks of the Firefox Campus Edition. Mozilla even made an attractive page to promote the campus edition and it definitely clicked. The only addon that comes bundled with the Campus Edition that I found useful is Zotero and the other two i.e. FoxyTunes and StumbleUpon are not really much of a help.
Instead I went on a addon hunt and found some great addons that will make Firefox a better option for Students world over. I am going to divide all the addons into four differant categories and here they are :
- Research
- Communication
- Data Storage and Retrieval
- Things you should have
Remember all these are dead simple to install and every other jack or joe should be able to do it. But if you still find it difficult to do it then you can drop in a comment and I’ll try to help you out..
Research
- PDFdownload - This is simple enough, it allows you to easily download pdf’s in Firefox. This can sometimes be a tricky proposition, but PDF’s are the document of choice in most online research databases.
