I’m pretty sure you have all heard about Internet Explorer 8 either here or elsewhere. The 1st Beta of IE8 was released to public today and I quickly downloaded and I’ve been playing with it the whole day long. So coming back to IE8 after such a long time was an experience in itself for me. Anyway’s I’d better cut the crap and focus on the... Read The Rest →

What If Microsoft Builds IE On Top Of Firefox ?

Just done with reading an Interesting Post at PCWorld titled “Dear Microsoft: It’s Time for Internet Explorer, Powered by Firefox”. The headline caught me unawares and the article itself was quite an interesting read. The article was quite provocative, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I just thought I should present my opinions on this idea as well, so here you go.. If you have any ideas please drop in your opinions in the comments. For a start lets get it straight on, that IE will never embrace Firefox come... Read The Rest →

Windows Vista SP1 To Break Apps Just Like Vista Did!

You surely must have heard about the imminent arrival of Windows Vista SP1. Looks like at the grand party of the release of SP1, it is going to disappoint some apps. Yes you heard that right, SP1 will break support for some apps, just like Vista did on a larger scale when it first came out. Yahoo! Might Reject Microsoft's Bid Tomorrow

The Wall Street Journal believes that Yahoo! will decline the $44.6 Billion Offer made by Microsoft to acquire it tomorrow. Should this happen tomorrow, it might set some wildfires tomorrow, as this would probably be considered as a bold move by Yahoo. Yahoo has said that it will not consider any offer made by Microsoft under 40$ a share. Over a series of meetings, the Yahoo board believes that this offer seriously undermines the true value of Yahoo. If at all Yahoo pushes for atleast 40$ a share, this would... Read The Rest →

What Does A Combined Microsoft Yahoo Look Like?

Hot on the heels of the $44.6 Billion Offer made by Microsoft to Buy Yahoo, the web is going crazy with discussions on this. This deal if takes place, could well be the defining moment of Internet in 2008. This deal has large ramifications, beyond just about you and me can think of. I’m not entirely sure, if this deal makes sense for Microsoft. The only reason Microsoft seems to be running behind Yahoo is to beat Google in Search and Online Advertising. The Bid seems to be a good... Read The Rest →
