New Leopard Drivers Hint at New Macs

Things are going pretty fast for Apple ever since Leopard came out 3 days ago. The latest of the  rumors to hit the internet is that, Apple is going to launch new Macbooks pretty soon. If you ask me the reason for this, then its pretty much simple, Apple has bundled the drivers for Intel’s GMA X3100 chipset into Leopard, that clearly suggests that Apple definitely has new Macs in the offing with Intel’s GMA X3100 on it. Apple has included a full set of recent drivers for Intel’s GMA... Read The Rest →

Leopard Retail ISO Available on BitTorrent

I have to say Apple has done a brilliant job so far to prevent the retail version of Leopard from leaking on BitTorrent this long, but unfortunately they couldn’t keep things tight any longer and now we have Leopard all over the BitTorrent planet. I for one don’t own a Mac so downloading Leopard doesn’t make much sense, but I know a lot of people who want to download the Retail version thru BitTorrent and I have received over a dozen mails from people asking me where I could download... Joost 1.0 Beta is Here

My favorite P2P Application, Joost has received a major makeover in the first public beta release. Joost 1.0 comes with a revamped UI, that is super slick and is better than the old one. I have really fallen in love with the new UI. Joost 1.0 has everything rearranged, and the new Navigation system is the best I have seen in a P2P Application.

FlyGestures – The Best Mouse Gestures So Far

FlyGesture works a lot like Automator. You can create a single action, or chains of actions to be invoked by the simple movements of your mouse. Instant feedback so you know you are on the right track. Easy configuration to make your own actions. Yes I’m talking about the easiest way to use Mouse Gestures on OS X.  FlyGesture is activated like Exposé or Dashboard, bringing up a transparent window of “guides” to move your mouse through. Moving your mouse through the guides lets FlyGesture know what action or actions... Read The Rest →

Trampoline – The Quickest Route to the Tools you Need

Quick… what do you do most with your computer? If you are like many of the Mac Users worldwide, then you are sure to have as many apps open as the Hardware permits. Maybe it’s Photoshop. Maybe it’s your favorite website. Maybe it’s Quickbooks. Maybe it’s iChatting with your grandson. If you are like me, having atleast 5-6 apps open at a time, ofcourse the only difference would be that I’m on a PC and you on a Mac. Chances are, though, that there are somewhere between 7 and 12...   Microsoft is getting to release the Microsoft Office Suite for Mac Users very soon . The Mac version of the Office Suite is scheduled to be released in January 2008, but the Office team has started to post some amazing videos showcasing the UI of the upcoming Office Suite for Mac. As far as I can see Microsoft has taken the best of both the worlds by taking the best features of the Ribbon UI and the uniform design that we see throughout Mac OSX.  While not much is...
