A recent presentation from Google employee Scott Johnston, a former JotSpot executive, revealed some of the future plans for Google Apps and other Google services.
A Service called Google Sites that is based on Jotspot (acquired by Google in October 2006) will debut sometime next year. Google Sites will expand upon the already existing Google Page Creator which is part of the Google Apps Suite. Based on the collaboration tools previously offered by Jotspot , Sites will allow businesses to set up intranets, project management tracking, customer extranets, and any number of custom sites based on multi-user collaboration.” Google Sites will also allow you to upload any file formats.
