Yay! GMail finally gets IMAP
Thanks to DownloadSquad I discovered that my Gmail account finally has IMAP Access in it. IMAP allows you to read and send mail just like POP does but albeit in a much better way. IMAP will allow you to read mails from a variety programs and the most important thing is that all the mails that you read say in your iPhone, the same mails will be marked as read when you check your inbox in Thunderbird.
GMail gets a Storage Boost!
Google has just announced that GMail will be getting additional storage from now on. Dubbed as "infinity+1" GMail will continuously increase from now on. By the end of this month we should see about 4GB of storage in GMail and 6GB by January. Well here are the rough estimates of how much storage you will have : Well that roughly translates into : 2912MB by October 11, 2007 midnight Google time 4.2GB by the 23rd this month

Y! Mail Out of Beta : Gets New Features
Yahoo Mail has finally moved out of beta and the users should see the new Yahoo Mail in the next 3-6 Weeks. Looks like Yahoo has done some hard work and come up with some interesting features like Text Messaging right from the Yahoo Mail interface in select countries. Hotmail Users Get Extra Storage
Email storage seems to be the buzzword these days. Windows Live Hotmail Down
This weekend many Hotmail users have been reporting problems in accessing their accounts. They are getting errors like Server is Temporarily Unavailable etc.. while they try to log into their accounts.Microsoft acknowledged the problems immediately.
