Flickr Adds Photo Editing

The Flickr team has launched photo editing tools via the previously announced partnership with Picnik. Picnik is one of the best online photo editors out there, and its partnership with Flickr means uber cool photo editing for Flickr Users.

I am not going tell you about how the Photo editing is done, because details are already on the Flickr blog. All you need to do is Click the “edit photo” button above any of your stored photos, and Flickr launches the Picnik editor without leaving the Flickr site. When you are done with the editing you can save the photo or, if you are a Flickr Pro user, replace the original. Now How much more simpler could photo editing be,

Flickr to get Online Photo Editing Tools

logo_homeAccording to Techcrunch Flickr will very soon be getting basic photo editing tools from Picnk, that happens to be one of the most popular sites that edit photos. This when implemented would mean that Flickr users get a host of ways to edit their photos. I am sure that will be a great hit with the users, since the current photo editing tools on Flickr are limited to Image rotation and cropping.

picnik-logo Picknik on Flickr would mean, I can edit photos using the powerful Picnik photo editor and edit my photos. Flickr Users can do more than just rotating their photos on a new Flickr photo editor which includes Picnik’s flash based photo editor. After editing, users can either add it as a new photo to their album or overwrite the existing photo (pro users only). The integration is expected to finish in the next few months.
