A Software developed by Emilia Bellucci and John Zeleznikow from Victoria University in Australia helps couples settle their disputes over property and other things on the basis of game theory. The computer program combines artificial intelligence, game theory and an electronic or human external mediator to help divorcing couples settle their disputes in a fair and rational manner.
Take this very simple example. Say the Wife wants to keep a family car for herself and even the husband wants it.. This software makes a list of all items wanted by both the husband and the wife and asks them to assign points on a scale of 100 to each item. Say the Wife assigns the Car 30points and the Husband assigns it 20, then the Car goes to the Wife. See, its so simple.
