iChat is a wonderful app for Mac OS X and it has some uber cool features that are not found in the modern day IM Clients. Chax is the app that adds up more onto iChat. By uisng Chax you are going to be making your iChat chats a lot more enjoyable. Here is what Chax can do :

• Ability to hide iTunes music store links in text statuses
• Idle time included in tooltips
• Display Address Book nicknames instead of full names
• Option to show a warning before messaging mobile users
• Hide the audio/video status icon at the top of the user list
• Message a specific screen name for people with multiple screen names
