iPhones Infected With ‘Chickenpox’
Several iPhone who snapped onto iPhones early when they were released are now reporting that their iPhones are having tiny bubbles under the glass layer. I’m not sure when this started, but a few users noticed this earlier, but didn’t bother much. But to make things worse, these bubbles apparently have multiplying nature.
The Good thing is that Apple is replacing every single iPhone thats caught up with ‘Chickenpox’ with a brand new iPhone free of cost. Here are few selected quotes on what the users have to say on this problem :
“I have about 8 to 10 bubbles on my display. It doesn’t seem to affect functionality, but they are increasing in number and becoming an annoyance. I’m going to go for a replacement this weekend. It would be nice to get a 16 GB model,” Says an Engadet reader.
Apple Support Forums are buzzing with this issue, and it looks like its not a one off problem, which means Apple might end replacing quite a few iPhones.
