Flickr to get Online Photo Editing Tools

According to Techcrunch Flickr will very soon be getting basic photo editing tools from Picnk, that happens to be one of the most popular sites that edit photos. This when implemented would mean that Flickr users get a host of ways to edit their photos. I am sure that will be a great hit with the users, since the current photo editing tools on Flickr are limited to Image rotation and cropping. Picknik on Flickr would mean, I can edit photos using the powerful Picnik photo editor and edit my... Read The Rest →

Google Updates Pagerank, Shocks Many Leading Publishers

Google is definitely upto something here. A Major Pagerank update has been dished out and a lot of popular blogs have been hit the hardest with the update losing quite a bit of Pagerank in the process.. General theory is that the drop in Pagerank is due to sale of Text Links on these sites, but I don’t think that is the reason for all this. Take for example Problogger which was PR6 and now its PR4 or take Copyblogger which was also PR6 and now is PR4. Both of... Read The Rest →

Yay! GMail finally gets IMAP

Thanks to DownloadSquad I discovered that my Gmail account finally has IMAP Access in it. IMAP allows you to read and send mail just like POP does but albeit in a much better way. IMAP will allow you to read mails from a variety programs and the most important thing is that all the mails that you read say in your iPhone, the same mails will be marked as read when you check your inbox in Thunderbird.
