Mac’s have always been popular for its simplicity and its clean and simple design .Main Menu is an app that makes working on your Mac a lot more easier. First of all, it doesn’t launch anything in the backround on startup. It lets you start the app as needed. Even after starting Main Menu, it tucks itself away in the menu bar neatly and gives a nice clean drop down control. It does all the usual periodic maintenance scripts as well as permissions and pre-bindings. It does interface with Growl as well. Here is a brief info about Main Menu from it website.

Don’t have time to run all the various tools and scripts to keep your Mac running smoothly? MainMenu makes these tasks quick and easy, right from your menu bar. Rebuilding your Spotlight library for faster searching, repairing permissions, cleaning caches to improve application performance, and even more advanced settings ‘ such as enabling and disabling the Dashboard ‘ are no more than two clicks away. MainMenu is full of powerful maintenance tools to keep your Mac running like new, within a slick, simple interface.
