[Rejoice] Microsoft Finally Gives Up On Yahoo!
Finally it looks like Steve Ballmer and his team found too much of trouble running behind Yahoo for the past three months. Microsoft considers Yahoo to be its golden goose, and it feels that it will lay golden eggs in the future of online advertising.. I had written a post detailing What A Combined Microsoft Yahoo Looks Like weighing all the pros and cons if this deal went through. Somehow Yahoo managed to push Microsoft to such an extent that it had no choice but to accept defeat. Now that... Read The Rest →
Tip : Import/Export Firefox Passwords With Ease
Firefox happens to be my favorite browser. Being the person I am there is nothing on my Firefox install other than saved passwords and some toolbar bookmarks. For everything else I use online accounts like Del.icio.us, and other productivity sites like Remember the Milk. But recently in a computer crash, I had to wipe out Windows and reinstall it from scratch. In the process, I lost all the saved passwords, and after the reinstall I was left scratching my head trying to remember the passwords.

Get Free Official Support For Windows Vista SP1 Issues
Windows Vista SP1 has been out in the wild for some time now. Though SP1 has brought about a lot of improvements in Windows Vista, there still remain a few problems that need to be ironed out. When I first installed SP1 even though it said it installed correctly, I kept having random crashes from time to time. I reinstalled it and everything is running fine now.

The only question will this be a native app that runs on... Read The Rest →

Are There Psychological Problems With Us Tech Bloggers?
photo credit: marc_eliot Last week the blogosphere was abuzz with talk about the article that NYT published regarding the stress levels being seen in Tech bloggers (My views on this subject are here). At the same time Eric Rice posed an interesting theory last week, asking if social web early adopters have psychological disorders? My initial reaction was like WTF? Is this guy trying to offend Tech Bloggers worldwide. I always thought Tech Bloggers are the people who are generally ahead of the curve in adopting the latest in technology.... Read The Rest →
