Boom! Apple has finally unveiled the official SDK and looks like Apple has a winner at its hands in the form of the iPhone.  The Apple Special Event just wrapped up a few hours ago, and surprisingly Apple had quite a bit to say. The first half of the event was concentrated upon enterprise users while the second half focused on the SDK and a few other things. With complete enterprise support coming, Apple surely has a winner at its hands. Here’s a rundown into what enterprise features the... Read The Rest →

I’m pretty sure you have all heard about Internet Explorer 8 either here or elsewhere. The 1st Beta of IE8 was released to public today and I quickly downloaded and I’ve been playing with it the whole day long. So coming back to IE8 after such a long time was an experience in itself for me. Anyway’s I’d better cut the crap and focus on the... Read The Rest →

What If Microsoft Builds IE On Top Of Firefox ?

Just done with reading an Interesting Post at PCWorld titled “Dear Microsoft: It’s Time for Internet Explorer, Powered by Firefox”. The headline caught me unawares and the article itself was quite an interesting read. The article was quite provocative, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I just thought I should present my opinions on this idea as well, so here you go.. If you have any ideas please drop in your opinions in the comments. For a start lets get it straight on, that IE will never embrace Firefox come... Read The Rest →

Breaking : Credit Card Magnetic Strips Hacked!

If the security risks faced by credit card users weren’t already enough, now the security information that is stored in a magnetic strip behind the card can be hacked and be used for malicious purposes. Hacking the data on the magnetic strip so far has been unsuccessful but RFID security guru Adam Laurie has come up with a test program named CHaP.py, specifically designed to read the chip and PIN credit cards that comply with the EMV standard.   The Format wars for the next generation DVD’s are over. Blu-ray backed by Sony Corp. has finally managed to trump Toshiba backed HD-DVD. I’m not sure when this started, but a few users noticed this earlier, but didn’t bother much. But to make things worse, these bubbles apparently have multiplying nature.
