Ya they scammed me and a buch of others on a lot of $$$

I had $1400 that I waited my 60 days for it to clear and be able to send it to my pay pal account. I had a few small rebates all go threw fine. But a few weeks ago I had 2 payments totaling $1400 that were supposed to take 7 days to move from my live search account to my paypal and it has been saying "in process" for weeks and to expect my payment in 7 days..

Contacting them gets me no were. and they said they would let me resend the funds. But they never gave them back to me or took them out "of process" Now I get no ward back when I inquire.

Live Search Cashback is a scam. I bought a HP PC and was promised 20% cashback. After 6 weeks, Live Search sent me an e-mail saying that HP informed them that my purchased was returned and hence cancelled my Cashback, however the PC was still sitting in my house. I did not return or exchange anything with PC. In fact I had not even contacted HP since the PC was delivered.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Wow, you sound pretty upset about the whole thing. You did know that this program was formerly part of Jellyfish, right? Microsoft had no part in the development of the original service - they just bought the company and rebranded the service.

Point #2: The % refund is based on the vendor's affiliate plan. For example, Newegg offers 2.8% payments to all its affiliates for sales forwarded to them. In this case, Live Cashback takes a 0.1% cut and passes the other 2.7% back to the customer.

Fundamentally, you're complaining about a free service which gives customers money that would already have been spent to attract their business. Christ, they even offer you the choice to have your payouts sent to you via Paypal. I'm the last person who wants to develop a reputation for defending Microsoft (and I really will be the last person who ever adopts Vista, I swear it)... but your rant makes it seem as though you are ignorant of the facts.

@Firefox, No the payouts are set to 5$. And by the way it would be nice if Microsoft had the brains to use this money elsewhere rather than throwing it away..

I am just starting to wonder if Microsoft has too much cash at hand...
