Blue Ray is not my way of watching movies on my 42″ LCD HDTV it should be right? I would rather buy HD Downloads at iTunes Store and sync it to my Apple TV.

Currently for those spoil Blue Ray Buyers are going to really feel the heat when downloading HD Movies is the future of watching movies.

With a Blue Ray DVD for example; if your drop it or scratch it you are sh*t out of luck then you have to buy another one. If you reverse this situation and download HD Movies from iTunes or Vudu or any streamer, etc; you can play it a million times and not to ever worry about wearing it down, scratches or even finger prints on it. yeah you are right as the blu ray needs its own compatible players it is need to by new player and these cost more than 20,000 right now.

@avinash it is true that blu-ray prices will fall because of hd dvd not being made anymore but it does suck for all those with an hd dvd player right now, so good luck 360 buyers, should have bought a ps3

If i am not wrong blu-ray is having a large storage and i heard all the next generation films will be coming on blu ray disks cause for it is manufacturing of blu ray is cheaper than other according to sony.

After they get all of this DRM shit removed downloading movies from the net will be a lot better. Only then will I buy movies online, but I don’t think that online movie download will be a threat to blue ray. Because lots of people do not like to have to download movies to watch them. But only time will tell.

This is a very good article. I have already jumped on the downloads wagon with my 360 In fact, I cannot remember the last time I have bought a DVD mainly because I can get an HD movie for a low price
