I’m Looking for Advertisers

I’m looking for a few advertisers to keep this blog running and cover up my hosting expenses. Before I tell you what kind of Advertisers I’m looking for let me tell you something about this blog,

dailyApps is over 3 months old and is one the fastest growing tech blogs in the blogosphere. It is highly ranked in Technorati, and has broken into Technorati Top 10k in a space of 3 months which I believe is a commendable achievement. Readers of dailyApps are the people who are Tech Savvy and like to be kept updated with the latest of the happenings in the Tech World.

  • Over 900 subscribers
  • 500,000+ pageviews per month on an average
  • 240 posts and 884 comments
  • Technorati rank of 8000 (approx)

Ok here are some screenshots from AWStats and Feedburner to supplement the statistics I have given above. Please note that the AWStats data is for the month of October, and Feedburner data is for the past week as it is more accurate.

Well I don’t want to clutter this blog full of ads, and hide the quality content, so I am looking to advertise in a way that not only are they effective but are also nice to look at. So I plan to have image ads (200*75) in the header area of the blog. I am currently planning to have 4 Image Ads and 4 Text Links(with nofollow) in the header section of the blog for maximum exposure.

I plan to reveal the design of the ads  in a couple of days so I suggest you get in early to book yourself a seat on this rapidly growing blog. I haven’t decided on the prices as yet, but you can expect them to be in this range,

  • Text Links : Around 25-50$
  • Image Ads : Around 75-100$

I am sure thats a cheap deal, but I don’t want to spoil the user experience for the readers of this blog, so I plan to keep the ads minimal. If you are willing to advertise on this blog, then drop me a line via the contact form or leave a comment on this post. Everyone else, wish me luck.

On a related note, I would like you guys to suggest a Good Host to host dailyApps on. I am currently considering Media Temple Grid Service and Lunarpages.

  • Karthik, Great site--I stumbled across it while doing some research for mine.

    I have been with over 10 different hosts, however I have been with my most recent host Idologic.com for over 3 years. They are by far the best host I have ever used.

    Fast servers, friendly support, knowledgeable staff and they'll work with you on a first name basis which I love. Oh, also I've never noticed downtime in the 3 years. And most tickets get answered in under 20 minutes.

    Truly everything you can ask for in a host.
