Well the file sharers have done it again. The OEM version of Windows Home Server has been leaked on BitTorrent  and is now available on all major Torrent search engines. Well I’m not going to point out the direct links to the torrent files here, but if you are really interested then you can search for the leaked version all by yourself. Trust me, its not that difficult.

Well all you need to do is search for Windows Home Server on any torrent search engine like Demonoid, Mininova, PirateBay etc.. and I am sure you will find the OEM release.

Well here are some screenshots of the Windows Home Server Setup :

Well here is more screenshots… I am sure Microsoft will be beating itself up as I write this..

Well that means Microsoft have got themselves in a really bad position with Windows Home Server. WHS (Windows Home Server) was the most awaited launch from Microsoft from this year, and I am sure Microsoft must already be investigating the source of the leak..

  1. Well, why do you start every paragraph with the word ‘well’?

  2. Why do you start every paragraph with the word ‘well’. It’s not easy to read. Did you try the new server edition? I’m looking forward to use it.

I would really like the link to this. I have searched, and so far no luck. Thanks!

  4. @Rogier, Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll try not to use ‘Well’ that often in the future to begin a paragraph in the future. Regarding the Server edition, I haven’t tried it out personally.

@Mike, I am not sure if its available on Mininova or TPB. I suggest you try out Demonoid.

  5. I was a beta tester for WHS, and I must admit it’s pretty solid software. If you already have a NAS you might not find this quite as useful.

  6. @xxdemus : Yeah I have to agree with you. Windows Home Server does look like a pretty solid software. I don’t really have a home network, so I can’t try it out..

There is no leak to plug.

OEM copies of WHS are up for sale on several large web vendors sites in Canada and the US. $180 later, you too can upload a copy to torrent land.

As for what MS should do, they should cut the price of the OEM to $99 and issue a retail boxed edition for $150. This way, there is even less justification to pirate it.

What ever they come up with, we would ALWAYS find a way to share it, and we are sharing whatever we want to….when we want, no one can stopp us! we rules the pirat copy! and it would NEVER stopp. When they take us, we find a new way!

soo good lock, Microsoft, Polis, FBI….its to late, you cant stopp us
