Remember all PCs are not equa, you need to concern yourself with the components which are as close to a mac assembly as possible, in order to avoid conflicts. The whole reason Mac is successful is because they control the selection of hardware and the related software that drives the hardware. If your PC is simply an assembly of some random components, then chances are the hack will not work well for you. This is the same reason windows appears to have issues with some systems. Windows attemps to be a catch all piece of software for any assembly of PC components. This is not true of the Mac its specific software for very specificlly selected components.
