Hack Attack : Crack Date Protection in Trial Software

Have you ever had the software that you always wanted to have, but unfortunately it was a trial software that would expire after a specific period of time. Did you ever wish to take the trialware to last till anyday you want, and not the generic 30 days trial.

Well there you go.. A Freeware called Date Cracker 2000 allows you to just that. It allows you to extend the trial of your favorite software to virtually any date in the future.

Having said that, Date Cracker is the program that the Software industry doesn’t want you to know about.  Well using Date cracker is as simple as making a cup of Coffee. Just follow the instructions and in a few moments you will be using favorite trial software for as long as you wish.

  • Install Date Cracker and open it up from the Start Menu
  • Click Add
  • Add the description for your program.
  • Click the [...] Button at the bottom of the window.
  • Search for the executable of the file that you wish to crack.
  • Set the Simulated Run Date to any date you wish.
  • Click Run.

Well that was easy wasn’t it. Here are a few things I suggest you keep in mind before using Date Cracker.

  • Run the Software you wish to crack via Date Cracker when you first run it.
  • Date should be entered in the format : YYYY/MM/DD

Well that is it. Try it on stuff you have lying around in your Hard disk. Let me know if it works for you.

    kaarina, you are a con. You cannot prove it with screen shots because the software is garbage and does not work. LOL You are correct on one thing, cracking software is illegal. Good thing you are hiding out in India...

    I dont care if it doesnt work with others computers...but I m using it like a saviour.
    Personally I found this as the most useful software existing in the world. Only a matter of sadnes is that it is actually illegal to hack or crack any professional materials. So what? these days who cares all these. All wants free n cheap
    As well, it is of no tension who believe it works with me or not...but fact is that now I had cracked more than 30 sharewares or trials to use for longer days. Use all your head n techniques then sure to get its value.
    Lastly, very sad to say that you all know nothing of it, n has no bearence to try it. Thats vey sad for u all.

    Obviously you are full of it. I tried the software on sevreal virgin computers to no avail. What exactly are these errors or viruses you mention? Funny how you blame it on mysterious viruses. Do you really think we are foolish enough to believe your excuses? Your software is junk. Give it up.

    Really? Simple and easy to use? Robust? Let us see if you can crack any modern shareware program with Date Cracker 2000? Put your money where you mouth is and post your proof. I bet I can crack more apps than you using crack tools.

    But we all know you will not post it because this software is garbage. :) Hence the real reason I am irritating you. The software simply does not work and is a rip off. The developer is a complete fraud.

    To all - Go ahead and download Date Cracker 2000. Watch yourself waste time trying to crack todays popular shareware downloads. You will agree that the clown who made this software is only embarrasing himself.

    what's it doing - resetting the pc clock before the app opens? then resetting back - most software doesn't even bother with this level of spoofing, so it may work, but not for all software for sure.

    If you think this program is quality then you are truly an idiot. Show us the "really cool program" it cracked step by step. Seriously, post a tutorial to prove your case because I need a good laugh.

    Date Cracker 2000 does not crack any shareware software worth cracking. All this piece of shit does is spoof the system clock. I could write this program in less than two weeks. It does nothing complex and is most likely written in VB by a kid.

    If you really want to crack try using Olly debugger, hex editors and other cracking tools found free. The programmer of this application is an amateur. No doubt about it.

    Seriously, this thing worked on a really cool program. It *was* a free program in beta, but now it costs a ridiculous amount of money.

    To all you nay-sayer "programmers" commenting here: just shut up and try it. If it was coded by an "amateur", why don't you make a better version?

    It worked for the program I was trying, and it doesn't mess with my clock.

    Oooh thanx to its creator. It really worked with Adobe photoshop cs3, Nero 8 lite, Xilisoft audio converter n Vista Manager. Now i can use these tools or others for lifetime. It is really easy n works great.

    Sorry to say , it doesn't work on 90 day trial versions of myob accounting via windows vista , i ended up buying the myob program , i think this company (myob) are too cluey for this software to have any effect on them. Please prove me wrong !.

    ABU - You are obviously the developer of this P.O.S. software. When I downloaded this thing I laughed. Amateur coding at its worst. Doesn't crack a thing because it only spoofs Windows clock which is an ancient method for cracking trial software. Y O U S U C K !

    You are wrong. It doesn't work on any app post 2000. You could do the same just by manually setting your system clock back. It doesn't work. Period.
  • I can confirm that this worked on Microsoft Group Shot which expired sometime in 2007. I installed both Group Shot and this app in a virtual machine, and group shot ran without the expiration notice.

    Jimmy, I highly appreciate your comments. Those who ever gave positive feedbacks on this software they are totally expert in creating scams. Alright, suppose it may run fine in their computers, but why does not it run in my computer? Is this tool made only to run in particular computer?
    If so then it's manufacturer has no common-sense for software as well he deserve a knock-out from this world.

    Worth $100? HAHAHA! This program is a joke! Whoever wrote it is an amateur. If you think this is worth $100 and paid for you then you are truly an idiot. It won't crack any application. I tried it. It sucks.

    It doesn't matter if you run it on new, trial versions, shareware, freeware, betas, warez or on newly installed PCs. Regardless, this program is a joke and I'm sure the code was written by an amateur. Anyone can spoof system date & time on a local machine but nearly all shareware apps written today are too sophisticated to be spoofed via time & date. There are too many registry key entries that check more than just the date.

    I would be amazed if it actually did work on any app post Windows 95.

    I know some of the newer and more expensive programs are aware of date changing, but this utility work work on items that don't fit that category.

    Well, I haven't tried it...but did you guys tried it on first run, or on the warez you already are running.
    I guess a fresh new ware, running first time...is what this program works for....if it does.

    Its so funny to find out this kind of "software jokes". If this would really work then whole the world's software creators and dealers would either killed this software builder or else they would be sleeping on the road as beggars. Really this is a rubbish freeware. I tried continuously more than 4 hours, but all turned in vain.

    I agree, I tried to use it and I got the following message: "Your system clock settings have changed, therefore there is no way to evaluate your trial length. Please change the clock settings back to continue using this program." Worthless! But what do you expect, this program was last updated in 1995 I think.

    Does not work with most shareware apps today. The programs I tried it on sniffed it out and expired anyway. Most 30 day trial applications use creative methods of monitoring the clock and expired days/hour/etc.

    This program is worthless...

    I have a Game Front End that has the 30 day trial already expired. I ran date cracker 2000 but no luck.

    Any sugestions?
