Google Office is Almost Complete

Google Apps one of the chief competitors to the Microsoft Office Suite has finally come up with a presentations app that allows to create simple presentations. Right now the Presentations feature from Google does not stack up that well against Powerpoint.

You can import Powerpoint files into the Slideshow and edit them as you like. But the real problem is that you can’t save files as a powerpoint presentation or a open office presentation. Presentations from Google stores the stuff as a HTML with Javascript, CSS etc. embedded right into it. The only advantage that Presently has right now is its amazing collaboration features. Other features include presence of over 15 Stylish themes to choose from and a embedded gtalk so that you can collaborate easily.

Here is a small presentation that I made with Google Apps : Say Hello to the iPhone

Currently i feel that Google has let me down with the presentations app. I surely was expecting much more to come in. Also it is very very slow and crashes my browser quite often. Google needs to fix this ASAP. Otherwise its a step in the right direction.
