SVNX for Mac OS X
If you are a geek you surely download the nightly builds of Firefox, or your favorite blogging software like Wordpress etc from the SVN(Subversion). Updating files from SVN can be quite a daunting task if you were to use the command line but it really is a tad easier if there is a nice GUI on top of it.
And if you are one of those who have always been put off by the complexity of SVN then SVNX is for you.SvnX is an open source GUI for most features of the svn client binary. It allows you to browse your working copies, spot changes and operate on them but also to browse logs and revisions of your repositories !It’s written using Panther’s new bindings mechanism for maximum flexibility and user experience.
Here is a brief rundown onto its features :
Repository Inspector :
- Browse logs, revisions and directories in a single window.
- svn checkout, svn export, svn import, svn switch, svn copy, svn mkdir and svn delete support.
- Drag & drop between the repository browser and the Finder ! (both ways!).
- FileMerge integration.
- Disk cache for impressive speed.
Working Copy Inspector :
- Flat view / hierarchical view.
- Items sorting/filtering/searching.
- Operate svn actions on selected items.
