Firefox Gets Scalable Video
Firefox 3 Continues to impress me with the cool new features that are being added with every passing build. The Latest addition to Firefox is the native support for the <video> tag and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). By Adding native support for the <video> tag life is going to become all the more easier for Video Sites.
SVG seems to be a fun addition allowing you to resize and rotate the videos while watching them. If you feel like a watching a demo of what SVG feels like see the demo below :
All these new additions into firefox looks amazing to me.. And I can’t wait for the final release of firefox 3 to come out..

Just to clarify: SVG is already present in Firefox 2 but there’s a lot of new stuff coming for it in Firefox 3.
The tag support while in development and targeted for Firefox 3, it is not 100% sure it will make it on time and quality requirements.
The demo is an example of what can be done with the combination of these two technologies.
