Connect Your Laptop to Internet without Tweaking with the Settings
If you are one of those readers who use Laptop at different places like School, Office and Home etc.. You Must be knowing what pain it is to keep shuffling between your TCP/IP settings everytime you change the location.
Well there is a solution for this problem. All You need is NetSetMan a network settings manager that lets you create multiple LAN profiles on the same computer. Using NetSetMan all you have to do is configure everything once and save it as a profile and you are ready to go.
So the next you leave school and you are back home all you need to do is just change your LAN Profile. You can switch profiles using the System Tray Icon or if you are one of those geeky kind you could also use the command line. NetSetMan is available at Snapfiles.com. You can create upto 6 network profiles in the free version. It will even autofetch your current settings from “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties” window.
